Raymond James opens new branch in Kendal

Raymond James is pleased to welcome Nick Levens as Branch Principal of Raymond James, Kendal in Cumbria.

Nick will offer a personal discretionary investment management service that creates bespoke investment strategies based on individual clients’ objectives, financial circumstances and time horizon.

Nick began his career in the financial services sector in 1996 at Prolific Unit Trust Managers Limited, before moving to London with Henderson Investors. In 2000 he moved back to Kendal to work at Gerrard (now Barclays Wealth) before spending the last 17 years at Sanlam Private Wealth (formally Border Asset Management).

On joining Raymond James, Nick said:

“Raymond James provides me with robust compliance oversight and award-winning research, while providing my clients with the security of a large parent company. This enables me to create a bespoke investment proposition, whilst maintaining the personal touch associated with a small, boutique business.

“I joined Raymond James as I wanted autonomy to build a business that can make and implement quick investment decisions, as opposed to the issues sometimes faced in larger organisations with numerous committees. I can’t wait to get started and do what I can to help the people of Kendal achieve their financial goals.”

Anthony Scott, Head of Business Development at Raymond James said:

“Nick has a wealth of experience in the sector and I am confident that he will be a valued part of the Raymond James community. Nick has lived in the area for many years and so understands better than most their financial needs and will be able to bring the personal touch to his branch and his relationship with his clients. We are excited to see what the future will bring and the value Nick can add to the community in Kendal and the surrounding area.”
